Alexis C. Gaston

2023 marks 40 years for Alexis in the HEALTH and FITNESS Profession and retiring is not in her spirit!  Alexis’ passion is to help others feel good about themselves - mind, body, and soul. With being in the health and fitness/wellness profession for many years, she looks forward to waking up early, early each morning and head to work as every day brings new experiences and new challenges. Alexis feels very blessed to love what she does, coaching others towards being their BEST! Working with all ages and fitness levels -  recreational as well as competitive athletes dealing with injuries, those with health issues from joint replacements, Parkinson’s, Cancer, ALS, and those simply wanting to get-in-shape, helping them reach their goals, be it health and fitness, nutritional or gaining the competitive edge,  ALL is truly rewarding for her.  If you ask Alexis what she loves most about her day at JGF, the bigger the challenge the better it gets!

Growing up in Tallahassee as a competitive gymnast, dancer, cheerleader and member of the FSU Golden Girl Dance TEAM...with a BS Degree in Exercise Science from Florida State University, she went on to further pursue her education as a health and fitness professional in receiving her license as a Massage Therapist. Alexis is proud to be a member of the first graduating class of CORE Institute of Massage Therapy in Tallahassee, FL.

Reaching out to the Tallahassee community and beyond, Alexis has enjoyed volunteering many hours through organizing and/or participating in health fairs, SUPERCLASSES, Fit Kids fitness programs and MORE for the following organizations - Muscular Dystrophy Association, Children's Home Society, Boys and Girls Club of the Big Bend, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, ALS Association, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Big Bend.  She has also served as a Leon County School volunteer - mentoring at Riley and Oak Ridge Elementary Schools.

What brings Alexis joy?  Her faith in God.  Spending time with family, friends, and best bud, her Australian Shepherd, Swoosh.
